Product Limited Warranty
Quadlogic Controls Corporation (Quadlogic) warrants its equipment for 3 years from the date when the product was shipped from the factory against defect in material or workmanship when installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions by qualified personnel.
This warranty does NOT cover:
Obligation under this warranty is limited to repair and/or replacement, at the manufacturer’s option, of the manufactured product, and in no event shall Quadlogic be liable for consequential or incidental damages.Service Rates
Service rates cover service and standard replacement components approved for service (for example, fuses, wiring adapters, and so on) at the rates and for no more than the amount specified on the authorization form.
Service rates specified on the field service authorization will remain valid as long as Quadlogic receives signed authorization within 30 days from the authorization issue date.
Service rates specified on the RMA authorization will remain valid if Quadlogic receives the product within 30 days from the authorization issue date.Service Warranty
If any error related to service provided is discovered within 90 days of the date of service, it is the responsibility of Quadlogic to correct the mistake or error at its own expense. The original charge for service still applies. Quadlogic will make every effort to retrieve any metering data lost as a result, or make an estimation of usage.
For Field Service, the date of service is the date when the service was originally performed. For RMA Service, the date of service is the date when the product was shipped from the factory to the Customer.
The product service warranty is void if any change to the product installation or programming is made by non-authorized Quadlogic personnel.Field Service
FIELD SERVICE SCHEDULING: Quadlogic makes every attempt to schedule service within 2 weeks from the date that authorization is received. Appointments are scheduled Monday to Friday morning (9AM EST to 11AM EST) or afternoon (1PM EST to 4PM EST).
ACCURACY TEST CHARGE: If the meter point being tested fails the accuracy test due to a defect in material/workmanship or an error in service performed in the last 90 days, there is NO charge for the accuracy test or the work required to service the meter.
TENANT PRIVATE SPACES: It is the Customer’s responsibility to notify tenants of the service scheduled and to obtain permission to enter tenant spaces as required. When the service requested requires access to a tenant’s private space, the Customer must provide an escort for the technician(s) for the entire time when work is being performed inside tenant space. If an escort is not present for the duration of the service call, Quadlogic will not be held liable for any complaints made by the tenant.
ACCESS RESTRICTION: If the service requested cannot be completely performed for reasons outside of the control of Quadlogic, including, but not limited to, inability to access the meter due to tenant absence or tenant refusal, inability to locate the meter, or physical obstruction to meter access including locked door, locked disconnect switch, sealed meter, and so on, the customer will be charged for all time spent on site, including labor and/or waiting for meter access, in addition to the travel time on hourly basis at the Service Rate valid for the date of visit. Quadlogic will contact the Customer to authorize a return visit to complete the work and reschedule the appointment for a later date.
POWER INTERRUPTIONS AND SENSITIVE ELECTRONICS: In most cases service will be performed without the need to disconnect power. However in rare circumstances power may be disconnected for up to 30 minutes. Momentary power outages may cause damage to sensitive electronics. Therefore the property must notify tenants in areas being serviced that power may be disconnected, and advise tenants to disconnect power to sensitive electronics prior to and for the duration of the service call. Quadlogic will not be held liable for any damage caused by a failure to disconnect such equipment.
OVERTIME: Any work performed outside of Quadlogic business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30AM EST to 5PM EST, excluding holidays) is charged hourly at 150% of the hourly service rate.
VISIT CANCELLATION CHARGE: If an appointment is cancelled after 4PM EST the business day prior to the visit within NY Area or less than one week prior to the visit outside NY Area, the Visit Cancellation Charge# will be applied per assigned Quadlogic personnel.
VEHICLE USE CHARGE: If a vehicle is required for the technician(s) to reach the site where service is requested, a vehicle charge is applied per day of service. If the site is located within 90-mile radius of Quadlogic, the Vehicle Use Charge# is applied. For sites located outside 90-mile radius from Quadlogic, the vehicle use charge is determined based on the site location. For more information, refer to the Trade Price List. Quadlogic by its sole discretion determines necessity of using a vehicle based on equipment required to perform service as well as public transportation options.Merchandise Return/Repair (RMA)
SHIPMENT PREREQUISITES: Quadlogic requires prior RMA request approval and an assigned RMA number before accepting any merchandise returns. An RMA request form which includes complete repair and/or return for credit policies can be found online at www.quadlogic.com/RMA/. RMA number sent by automatic e-mail after the RMA Form submission must appear on the outside of the shipping container. If the units returned without original packaging or missing any manuals, harness, or cables, additional charge may apply.
FREIGHT: Quadlogic will return merchandise back to the Customer via UPS Ground at NO charge. Shipping charges to Quadlogic are the responsibility of the product owner. Expedited return shipping is available upon request for an additional charge.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Quadlogic will pay for standard cost of clearance through duties and customs for receipt of authorized return merchandise only. Clearance through duties and customs is the Customer responsibility for return shipments.
RESTOCKING CHARGE: When returning not used and sealed in the box standard product for credit within 30 days from the original sales order ship date, NO restocking charge applies. For standard product under warranty after 30 days from the original sales order ship date, a 20% restocking charge shall apply for standard products. Any OEM products and Build-To-Order systems under warranty are subject to negotiable restocking charge. No credit is provided for products returned after the end of the product warranty period.
