Sayre Swarztrauber

Prior to Quadlogic, as President of Swarztrauber-Segan, Inc. his company designed the first ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) chip that was utilized in Hallmark’s musical greeting cards as well as successive generations of musical chips. Swarztrauber-Segan, Inc. also designed components used in the manufacturing of automotive accessories, toys and other consumer products generating more than $100 million in wholesale revenue between 1979 and 1983. Sayre is a graduate of Princeton University with a B.A. in Physics.
