Since the utility is already connected to all customers, this method utilizes the existing electric power network for bi-directional data collection and load control, thus eliminating the need for RF drive-by, cellular, or hard-wired communication methods.
Quadlogic Controls (OTC: QDLC), founded in 1982, is the leading provider of digital electric Smart Metering & Submetering systems in the New York metropolitan region. QLC AMI systems are in use in high-rise office, residential, commercial, and industrial facilities all across the U.S. and Canada.
